Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has been captured, senior official has reportedly told ABC news that that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar was captured recently – around two days ago, the capture was credited to the U.S.A and Pakistani intelligence teams, Mullah is the number two Taliban leader and he is thought and said to be providing intelligence and valuable information.
“This operation was an enormous success,” the official said (to ABC News) and that “It is a very big deal.”
Baradar is thought to be second in charge and only Mullah Mohammed Omar is above him in rank and importance, in the Afghan Taliban terrorist organization, Baradar takes the reigns of commander of the terrorist organization as regularly as every day.
Another Official Terrorists officer refused to confirm the capture and said :
“if he were taken off the battlefield, it would deal a major setback to the Afghan Taliban and be a personal blow to Mullah Omar, who has relied heavily on him for years.”
Last time Baradar issued a statement (he said this) :
“the history of Afghanistan shows that Afghans never get tired of struggling until they have freed their country. We shall continue our jihad till the expulsion of our enemy from our land.”
