The Saints Win Super Bowl against the Colts – 31 to 17 on Sunday night in Miami, The Saints owner Tom Benson said “New Orleans is back.” And the Saints coach Sean Payton said: “It’s a credit to all of these players. Everybody back in New Orleans gets a piece of this trophy.”
MVP Brees, had 32 completions which is a the same as the current record for Super Bowl, which showed the same courage as the team which at one stage was down by 10. To top it off the Saints even broke out the tune “We are the Champions” in full voice after the win … a little bit corny I reckon and it reminds me of the mighty ducks.
But well done to a deserved City and what was a struggling team – once.
