Mariposa could have been and had the potential to crash huge networks and huge web sites – this includes important Government sites, and if it didn’t destroy them it could have simply crashed them … the virus had infected 13 million computers and that’s massive, the trio had control over these 13 million computers and could track the financial details of all those who were infected. The Mariposa infected a vulnerabilty in internet explorer.

The police in Spain have come out all smug and said that the cyber geeks were stupid and criminally incompetent – they say thank god for that, as they didn’t realize the power that they had on their hands and the sheer power that they had at their disposal.

Picture this 13 million computers in your control and at any one time you could hit any website that you wanted, now there’s only a handful of sites that could cope with such a instant hit … would be devastating to the majority of sites out there. The poilce have labeled this as one of the biggest online threats and crimes – potentially – ever online.

Dale Begg Smith Spyware

His sporting achievements :

Dale Begg Smith is in the Winter Olympics 2010, he was born in Canada and then moved to Australia, hence why Canada hates him, he won Australia’s first medal in 2006 in the Mogul event in Turin – this year he was to back it up and become an Aussie icon.

His online venture and spyware :

When he was 15 he was told by Canada officials to leave his online business and focus on the sport – or leave the sport if wants to continue online, so he moved to Australia instead. In this years winter Olympics he chose to only have Australia media at his press conference. In 2006 a Australian news paper reported that Dale’s website was helping to distribute spyware and infect peoples computers … Dale had declined the report and continues to snob any wrong doing.

Dale Begg was the president of a company called AdsCPM Network (a.k.a. CPM Media Inc., the website and chain of web sites was said to have displayed 20 million pop ups per day, the web site is now offline and so are his others – freescratchandwin.com and xzoomy.com, to top it off he was even selling pop-up blocking software at the kill-pop-ups.com website.

Snooki Pics Leaked – Snooki is Jersey Shore’s Nicole Polizzi and apparently her Naked Pics have surfaced, in what seems to be a hoax how ever or some smart ass web site owner link baiting and trying to get traffic.

New Facebook Layout

The new Facebook layout is not such a hit with the users, users wanted more privacy and in a sense more from Facebook, the new layout features multiple search options like : search users notes, users names, addresses etc. – of which have always been available … but now the search is more in your face and may be an attempt to encourage profile surfing.

Facebook has always been very public and the privacy of it’s users and members has always been under scrutiny, Facebook had even promised it’s users more privacy in recent times – but this recent overhaul offers nothing for those who were begging for more respect.

Facebook now boasts over 3 million users world wide and is leading the field in online communities – for now, but is it heading towards a MySpace collapse ? and will the users loose interest and respect ?
